Strategy & Concept Development
#CroccinAroundTheWorld
Here’s How it Works
As I was walking through London’s Heathrow Airport, I spotted what I thought was a Crocs Jibbitz. It wasn’t—but that’s where the idea for #CroccinAroundTheWorld was born. Why not give travelers an exclusive way to commemorate their adventures with Crocs?
#CroccinAroundTheWorld is more than just Jibbitz, it’s a passport you can show off (without the risk of identity theft). Each country will have specific jibbitz for representation & the only way to get the jibbitz is to travel. The Jibbitz can only be found in that countries airports, turning your crocs into a stylish passport everyone will ask about.
-
It's a campaign that brings together novelty and collectability. Crocs are TSA-friendly, making security checkpoints easier for both travelers and TSA agents. But now, travelers can collect exclusive location-based Jibbitz—a special badge of honor for each airport they visit.
-
Imagine regular Crocs, but with a new incentive. Travelers can only get exclusive Jibbitz at specific locations around the world.
Examples:
London Jibbitz available only at Heathrow Airport.
Imagine the Tudor Rose, a royal crown, or an english breakfast jibbit, only available in England's airport and waiting to be put on your foot!
Paris Jibbitz available only at Charles de Gaulle.
Imagine the Fleur-de-lis, the Eiffel tower, or a stamp that matches the one on your passport!
Each airport offers a unique Jibbit, turning Crocs into your personal travel passport.
-
Travel Influencers:
Partner with influencers who love to travel. Have them show off their airport-exclusive Jibbitz and share their Crocs journey.Geo-Fencing Ads:
Use geo-fencing ads that target travelers in airports or nearby locations. Highlight the Jibbit exclusivity and the ease of Crocs through TSA security.On-Site Airport Ads:
Place ads in airports with key messaging like:"Croc Around the World"
"Use Crocs as Your Passport"
By turning Crocs into a wearable passport, the #CroccinAroundTheWorld campaign has the potential to engage a global audience of travelers who are on the lookout for the next adventure.
