The concept of Bumble X LinkedIn arose from all the “we regret to inform you” emails I have received throughout this job search. I always felt that if recruiters could get to know me beyond my resume, I’d have a better chance at landing a job. That’s how Find Your Hive was born.
Both Bumble and LinkedIn have strong networking qualities. But, together, they could collaborate to create something truly impactful.
Bumble once had a platform called “Bumble Bizz,” but as of January 31, 2023, it’s no longer active. A revamp with LinkedIn is exactly what Bumble needs.
While "Bumble Bizz" was a good idea, it may have fallen short because Bumble is so heavily associated with dating. Convincing users to deviate from established networking apps like LinkedIn requires more specialization, something Bumble didn't fully offer.
However, a LinkedIn x Bumble collaboration could create a trustworthy hybrid—one that maintains the professionalism of LinkedIn, but allows for a more organic, genuine connection with companies you care about.
